Initial Meeting and Consultation
Ferandell works with clients on all aspects of tennis court design and construction. Before the tennis court construction process begins, Ferandell will answer any questions you have regarding space, ground composition, surfacing, or municipal codes. The work site is policed each day to maintain a well-kept environment.

Construction Process
Ferandell begins the construction process with forming, grading and leveling the area. Soil preparation is a vital part of the process in order to minimize future cracking. This requires removing unwanted vegetation, soil, compaction and watering of subgrade. After the soil is watered and compacted the base material is put in place, installation of rebar and pouring of concrete using the laser screed whenever possible.
The court is then left to dry for an extended period. While the concrete is drying, fencing and lighting is installed when applicable.

Surfacing
After proper curing, the surfacing process can begin. Customized court surface options are available and can be applied at this time.

Equipment Installation
For tennis court construction, net poles and nets are installed. Windscreens, when ordered, are set in place. For outdoor basketball, bocce ball, volleyball, hockey, multi-use, and other game courts, Ferandell installs the appropriate equipment. Benches, ball machines, and other sports equipment/features will be installed or delivered if ordered.
